Doug joined Barrier in 2010. He has a demonstrated history in the construction industry having worn many hats; estimating, contracts, installation, inspection, management, operations, financials, P&L responsibilities, etc. He has experience on most building types and specializes in Healthcare and Data Center construction with a major focus on Firestopping and Life Safety Code Compliance.

Doug graduated from Hillsdale College with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2000. He holds many state licenses for Barrier (including General Contractor & HVAC). He is Barrier’s UL DRI and has been trained as a Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt.
